Day trip in Osaka started with the Osaka Castle (we forgot to take any pics). We enjoyed walking through the gardens with our nifty little umbrella. I’m now on a mission to bring umbrellas back to Seattle. A lady and the tramp situation here... but seriously, one of the best things we ate was this 10 yen coin. It was a pancake filled with cheese (and I must add it was KIRKLAND cheese). Stopped for some grub and caffeine at the cutest Aussie-inspired cafe. We then spent the next 2 hours at PARCO, a mall filled with pop culture merch, including a Godzilla and Ghibli store. Down the never-ending flight of escalators. The famous running man! On the streets of Soemonchō, an entertainment district in Osaka. Not pictured, Isaac happily eating a whole, steamed sweet potato. Embracing the rain because they actually use umbrellas here!! Walking along the river to find a place to grab some happy hour. Ending the day with views of the Tsutenkaku Tower and a bowl of dipping noodles. Isaac enjoyed some version of Japanese spaghetti (?) and some drinks to top off the day.
