Rome - Greetings from the Pope

Our little Trastevere nest came with a daily dose of postcard-perfect views. From here, it's all cobblestones, rooftops, and the occasional church bell. Who needs an alarm when you've got Rome waking you up? Just kidding, we heard church bells every morning at 7am...
Nestled among ivy-clad walls and quaint little balconies, our Trastevere apartment was straight out of a movie. Dare we rent a Vespa and zoom away into the sunset? If these walls could talk, they'd probably whisper Italian secrets.
A bridge over troubled water they say? No troubles here! This is autumn in Rome, and it's as dreamy as it gets.
We came across a golden masterpiece in the heart of Rome. Autumn suits him, don’t you think? It's like nature decided to match his vibe.
The Trevi Fountain, bathed in the warm glow of the setting sun, is pure magic. Not pictured: the millions of tourists bombarding this watering hole.
When in Rome… drink Irish beer? Maybe not the most authentic choice, but hey, variety is the spice of life. And sometimes you JUST NEED A GUINESS.
Caught a glimpse of the Pope during the Wednesday Papal Audience—just another casual day in Rome. I sat through about 8 translations of everything the pope said, truly a test of my patience to say the least.
